MICROWAVE RECIPE- SPINICH DHOKLA
hi welcome again to one of the microwave special recipes. For most of us dhokla is a well known thing, and for the ones who find it new, I am referring to steamed cakes, yummuy and savoury and you will love with and kind of dip, coconut chuney preferred.
For this we need
moong dal: 50 g
Chana/gram dal: 50 g
a handful of spinich
Salt to taste
Green chillis: 2 (use 1 if like it mild)
curd 2 tablespoon
ginger 1/2 cm
Soak both the dals in water for 2-3 hours. Drain and put them in grinder. Now add the rest of the ingredients in the grinder along with a little water and gring well to a thick batter consistancy. Now take silicon cupcake moulds and fill them upto 3/4 of the capacity. carefilly put this in microwave and on 60% power microwave it for 6 minutes. let it cool for 5 minutes. Demould these and cut them in size you like, I prefer 1 inch bite size pieces. The tampering is optional. For this in a pan add 2ml oil add pinch of mustard seeds, curry leaves, asfoetida and let it splutter. Now add to the cut dhoklas and serve with garnishing ogf some shredded coconut.
Healthy recipe ready in under 10 minutes and amazingly tasty.
